Writing in Paragraphs In-Person
Learn more about the building blocks of academic texts. This session is most suited to undergraduate writers who have not written many essays or reports or writers who have received feedback from their lecturers about writing which they do not really understand. Not suitable for anyone writing at postgraduate level. Paragraphs are the building blocks of academic texts. They help you to get your message across clearly and logically to your readers. This session will explain the structure of paragraphs and show you examples of the different types of paragraphs you need to write in your reports and essays. There will be some interactive tasks to analyse the logical development of different paragraphs. |
