How to Survive your Dissertation In-Person
Run by the Student Counselling Service this workshop will address some issues facing those with a substantial piece of work such as a dissertation, final project, or piece of research. For most people this will be their first time approaching this type of task and the workshop will focus on the importance of planning, how to make a start (avoiding procrastination), ways to manage stress and stay motivated, and making good use of available resources. Materials from the Workshops, including PowerPoint Slides and handouts, can be accessed through the Organisations section on Vision.
