Turnitin Basics Online

This session is aimed at those who are new to Turnitin, or need a refresher on the setup of Turnitin in Blackboard. I

The session will cover:

What is Turnitin? Where do I find it?
How to add a submission link to your course
Setup options - what the "advanced options" are for and how to avoid some common pitfalls
What the students see
How to access the submissions once they have been submitted
Similarity reports
Brief introduction to marking with Turnitin

If you have the means to watch and simultaneously work with your own course, you may be able to follow the instructions and have Turnitin submission points available by the end of the session in your course. Dual/split screens are useful to open your VISION course side-by-side with the Collaborate session.

Each session is run online via Collaborate. Signup required.
