This session is most suitable for undergraduate students and taught postgraduate students working on their dissertation or final year project.  It focuses on a more systematic and thorough approach to literature searching covering:

  • How you can use what you already know to help you find other useful sources
  • Keyword searching (a more systematic approach)
  • Managing your searches/references 
  • What are the best resources to use?
  • How to save and edit searches and set up alerts
  • Getting hold of the full-text 
  • Where to go for further help
