Finding sources for dissertations and final year projects Online

This session is most suitable for undergraduate students and taught postgraduate students working on their dissertation or final year project. It focuses on a more systematic and thorough approach to literature searching covering:
- What is a literature review?
- Why does a good literature search help the literature review process?
- What are the different types of literature you might want include/search for?
- How you can use what you already know to help you find other useful sources
- Keyword searching (a more systematic approach)
- Managing your searches/references
- What are the best resources to use?
- How to save and edit searches and set up alerts
- Getting hold of the full-text
- Where to go for further help
