Budgeting and Costing Workshop F2F In-Person
This workshop is for Research, Academic Staff as well Professional Services staff, who use Worktribe.
This workshop plan is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of creating a budget for research grants. It includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application to ensure participants can effectively apply what they’ve learned. We will explore what costs you should consider on your proposals, what is permitted both from the funder and the institution and some useful tools for you to use. There will be opportunity to discuss all budgeting issues as a group and work on some budgets in Worktribe.

Cancellations
All cancellations need to be made on LibCal, no later than 48hrs before each session starts. This will allow a person on the waiting list to attend.
Non-attendance
If you frequently cancel with short notice (less than 48 hours) or fail to show-up, this will be considered as non-attendance. If you miss 5 sessions in the same academic year, we will reach out to you to check in on your wellbeing and notify that you will not be able to book any further places until the end of academic year, unless a valid reason is given. Existing bookings will also be cancelled.
