Conducting Field Experiments WEBINAR Online

The workshops aims are:

•    Introducing basic approach in causal research
•    Defining problem identification in experimental research
•    Introducing experimental manipulations, designs, and procedures

Objectives:

•    Introducing steps in experimental research
•    Introducing the differences between field, online, and laboratory experiments
•    Defining independent, dependent, and control variables
•    Addressing issues of internal and external validity in experimental research
•    Discussing how to select and implement an experimental design

Priority is given to SoSS Research Students.

Registration is required. There are 26 seats available.

Cancellations

All cancellations need to be made on LibCal, no later than 48hrs before each session starts. This will allow a person on the waiting list to attend.

Non-attendance

If you frequently cancel with short notice (less than 48 hours) or fail to show-up, this will be considered as non-attendance. If you miss 5 sessions in the same academic year, we will reach out to you to check in on your wellbeing and notify that you will not be able to book any further places until the end of academic year, unless a valid reason is given. Existing bookings will also be cancelled.
