Ending Gender Based Violence - Action Group Launch In-Person
Join us in Meeting Room 1 for the launch of the Ending GBV Action Group, a student-led initiative dedicated to ending gender-based violence on campus and beyond. This is a space for students to come together, build community, and take meaningful action.
Together, we’ll explore what GBV means and how it intersects with issues like consent. Through open discussion, we’ll define a shared vision of what a world without gender-based violence would look like. Drawing inspiration from successful initiatives at other universities, we’ll identify the changes you want to see and begin transforming ideas into concrete actions. This is your space to lead, collaborate, and create a campaign that reflects the needs and voices of our student community.
Important Note:
This is not a support group, but a space for community action. We welcome survivors, allies, and activists, but ask that personal experiences of GBV are not shared in detail to prevent triggering others. If you need support, please contact University Wellbeing Services or the Student Union Advice Hub.
