How to Get Most out of Your PGR Personal Tutor F2F In-Person
During this workshop you will find out more about the PGR Personal tutor scheme at HWU. PGR Personal Tutor is a support role undertaken by an academic within the same School as a Research Degree Candidate.
Aim of the workshop is:
- to introduce PGR Personal tutor scheme to PGRs
- to understand why you should engage with your PGR Personal tutor and what their responsibilities are
- to receive some tips on what PGR Personal tutor can help you with.

Cancellations
All cancellations need to be made on LibCal, no later than 48hrs before each session starts. This will allow a person on the waiting list to attend.
Non-attendance
If you frequently cancel with short notice (less than 48 hours) or fail to show-up, this will be considered as non-attendance. If you miss 5 sessions in the same academic year, we will reach out to you to check in on your wellbeing and notify that you will not be able to book any further places until the end of academic year, unless a valid reason is given. Existing bookings will also be cancelled.
