Introduction to Commercialisation: Research Commercialisation as Impact WEBINAR Online

Research impact has traditionally been measured by publication, but wider definitions are increasingly valued by essential stakeholders. This workshop will introduce the different forms of research commercialisation, how they can benefit universities and researchers, and how they can generate real-world impact. Participants will be taken through examples of how research led to impactful solutions that were subsequently commercialised, then identify a problem in their own field/related to their own project and propose potential solutions.

Cancellations

All cancellations need to be made on LibCal, no later than 48hrs before each session starts. This will allow a person on the waiting list to attend.

Non-attendance

If you frequently cancel with short notice (less than 48 hours) or fail to show-up, this will be considered as non-attendance. If you miss 5 sessions in the same academic year, we will reach out to you to check in on your wellbeing and notify that you will not be able to book any further places until the end of academic year, unless a valid reason is given. Existing bookings will also be cancelled.
