Creative Workshop for Early-Career Researchers Working Across AI Technologies - DAY 2 F2F In-Person

This is a 2-day workshop (run on 17 and 19 November 2025) and you need to be available to attend both sessions.

Collaborate with Artist Jen Collier!
Join us for a unique opportunity to explore how art and research can come together to make AI more accessible to the public!
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, it's vital that communities understand what it is and how it works. One powerful way to do this is by sharing research stories creatively - and what better way than through art and creative practice?
We’re inviting early-career researchers working in AI to collaborate with participatory artist Jen Collier in a creative co-design workshop. Together, you’ll help shape a family-friendly workshop for early years audiences, to be delivered across communities in West Lothian.

What You’ll Gain:
•    Skills in co-designing for specific audiences
•    Experience in translating research accessibly and inclusively
•    Insights into tailoring public engagement for diverse communities
•    Practice in multi-disciplinary and creative collaboration
•    An introduction to Informal Science Learning (ISL)

This opportunity counts towards your 80 hours of Public Engagement and is open to early-career researchers working in AI technology.
