Launch: Community Bookshelf In-Person
Liberty's Cafe is to become home to a community bookshelf, where all members of our community will be invited to read a book, bring a book, take a book and discuss a book.
An online book lover’s community will also open, allowing the sharing of recommendations, comments and thoughts on all and any books that find a home via the bookshelf.
Where available, links to audio books will also be posted, allowing our global community to gain access to the bookshelf virtually.
The sustainability team will be donating some hand-picked favourites of theirs, in advance of our Global Sustainability Week, which kicks off on Monday 20 October. The sustainability team will be on hand from 3pm, ready to convince you to deep dive into some of their favourite books on a selection of sustainability topics.
The act of sharing a book is an act in support of sustainability, so if you’ve a book you’ve read (on any topic!), that you think others will love, please do bring it along to the community bookshelf. The launch will run concurrently and as part of the community meal event.
