Creating an Inclusive Research Environment: Unconscious Bias WEBINAR Online
This training is designed to equip participants with an understanding of unconscious bias and how it manifests. They will also develop new tools on how to spot and mitigate it.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
• Recognise what unconscious bias is and what impact it may have on workplaces
• Identify tools and strategies to mitigate unconscious bias and to challenge unfair treatment
• Reflect on how to challenge biases and promote inclusivity

Cancellations
All cancellations need to be made on LibCal, no later than 48hrs before each session starts. This will allow a person on the waiting list to attend.
Non-attendance
If you frequently cancel with short notice (less than 48 hours) or fail to show-up, this will be considered as non-attendance. If you miss 5 sessions in the same academic year, we will reach out to you to check in on your wellbeing and notify that you will not be able to book any further places until the end of academic year, unless a valid reason is given. Existing bookings will also be cancelled.
